CAT Master Trainer- Leanne Howard
Leanne Howard is an Agile Practices Consultant. Over the past 25 years Leanne has worked in the IT Software industry across multiple projects using different methodologies and practices. She is a specialist in the implementation of practical ways of working with a strong focus on client satisfaction. She has always valued the so-called “lightweight” development approaches favouring pragmatic, outcome-focussed working with a predisposition towards just-in-time effort and just-enough documentation.
In her consultancy role (and as the lead author of the iSQI Certified Agile Tester and Certified Agile Essentials syllabi, courses, and exams) Leanne has gained a unique insight into the issues and frustrations that beset teams and individuals implementing or seeking to uplift agile processes in Australia as well as internationally. She enjoys sharing her knowledge through training, mentoring and coaching others to promote continuous learning. She is active in both the agile and testing professions through presenting at conferences, meet-up groups and ACS SIGs.
Leanne volunteers a lot of her free time to uplifting the agile and tester capabilities. She is keen to foster better harmony and alignment between the various bodies of knowledge in these areas. As an active member of the Australian Standards Committee and board member of ANZTB she hopes to promote this from within. She often writes articles to share insights into her craft, which can be found here.
